Meet The Expert Behind Our Therapy
OUR HEALTH TEAM
SUPERVISORS
At Healthportal, supervisors are assign to patient with the sole responsibility of reversing patients diabetes within the scheduled period using all of our formula. Our health supervisors are professionally trained healthcare workers under the supervision of medical team headed by a diabetes specialist doctor.
Supervisors call patient daily to administer treatment and collect fasting blood sugar data for the purpose of meal planning. Data's collected are confidential and can only be shared or review by our medical team.
NUTRITIONIST
Our nutritionists are expert in the field of food and nutrition. They advise our patients on what to eat in order to live a healthy lifestyle or achieve our specific health-related goal which is reversing type 2 diabetes.
At Healthportal, our nutritionists provide customized information for each patients. They work with our health supervisors to prepare customized daily meal plan for our Diabetes patients.
Our Nutritionists typically do the following:
Explain nutrition and what it can do for our patients.
Assess clients' health needs and diet.
Develop meal plans, taking both cost and clients’ preferences into account.
Evaluate the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed.
Provide better nutritional information about diet and good eating habits.
Exercises Physiologist
Our exercise physiologists are Allied Health professionals who specialises in the benefits of exercise to help patients get fitter for all around good health, or to treat patients with diabetes condition through exercise.
Our Exercise physiologists are knowledgeable about the effects that exercise has on the musculoskeletal system, as well as on the cardiovascular and endocrine systems. So they work with our health supervisors to prescribe a course of exercises for either fitness or rehabilitation. The prescribed exercises help to treat medical conditions such as diabetes, obesity, depression, as well as many other conditions.
Pharmacists
Our pharmacists are in charge of the dispensing of prescription supplements. The have expert knowledge of our medications and do advise our health supervisors on how to administer supplements to patients.
At Healthportal here, their job involves more specific supplements measurements and preparations - for example confirming prescribed calculations of doses dependent on the patient's weight, and making sure that the correct dose is given.
They also work on research relating to diabetes reversal, researching new supplements and other health and nutrition issues.
Medical Doctors
They are experienced doctors in medical field and they specialize in diabetes treatment.
Our medical doctors oversee the work of our health supervisors. They review patients file twice a week, prescribe medications and also order diagnostic tests.
